Tender Description

Daughters of Charity (Doc) engaged in the provision of new houses, repair of old ones and occasional financial help with householders threatened with eviction. DoC provides houses for poor women-headed households and people with various disabilities and chronic health problems in Mekelle City, Maichew town and in Irob District. DoC provides comprehensive services that promote the integral development of human beings. Currently, the organization is engaged in social and development programmes as well as emergency interventions.

DoC is dedicated to safe Procurement and programming. Thus, DoC has a zero-tolerance policy on misconduct with the aims and objectives of the organization, including theft, fraud, corruption or abuse of power/authority, sexual harassment (SH), sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), and discrimination. DoC also adheres to strict safeguarding principles and core humanitarian standards. Therefore, all selected suppliers will be expected to adhere to these standards and principles.

1. Eligible Bidders: can take bid document from: Daughters of Charity coordinating office, 1th floor, subxity of Adihaki behind Adihaki eye clinic upon nonpayment
2. Bidders must have renewed valid trading license for Furniture materials
3. Bidders must have TIN number. Vat Registration certificate and VAT Declaration for APril, 2026
4. The bidders can not alter, amend or withdraw offers after tender is opened
5. Bidders should submit offers price as per the attached request for quotation
6. Bidders should submit Bid security of 150,000 (One hundred fifty thousand Birr) only C.P.O from recognized Bank by the name of Daughters of Charity Tigray Coordinating Office and should be submitted together with the bid document to the bid box or separately before the Bid envelop is opened.
7. Bidders should aware that before conducting an agreement due diligence is going to be conducted on the overall capability of a supplier
8. The supplier should deliver the material within 30 days after notification of award and signing of agreement to DoC coordinating office with his/her transport
9. Bidders must be delivered their bid documents to the address Daughters of Charity Coordinating Office Sub City of Adihaki behind Adihaki eye clinic firs floor in the prepared tender box, from June 23, 2026 up to June 30, 2026.
10. Bid clothing date is June 30, at 8:30 local time
11. Late bids will be rejected and bids will be opened physically on June 30, 2026 at 9:00 local time preferably in the presence of the bidders or representatives who choose to attend in person at the address above.
12. The bid price validity date is 45 days
13. All bidders must be aware the DoC reserves the right to deposit the C.P.O of any bidders who refuse to sign an agreement at their quoted price after being provided and order notice.
14. The Daughters of Charity Coordinating Office reserves the right to reject partially or fully cancel or reject any or all of the bids.
15. The winner supplier must deliver the sample before signing of agreement.
