Since its launch in 2017, the School Feeding Programme has grown into one of the largest education and nutrition initiatives in Tigray. Implemented in partnership with Mary's Meals International and local stakeholders, the programme provides nutritious daily meals to schoolchildren, helping them stay healthy, attend school regularly, and achieve better learning outcomes.
Program Overview
DoC provides school meals to over 276,000 primary school children each year across 522 schools in 20 drought-prone districts, with total funding exceeding 700 million Birr, in partnership with Mary’s Meals International.

Meal Provision
