Program Overview
The Gaza Resilience and Inclusive Transformation (GRIT) program focuses on strengthening community resilience in post-conflict areas of Tigray. The program provides comprehensive support to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) survivors through safe spaces, psychosocial support, and economic empowerment initiatives.
Key Activities
- Operating Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) in multiple locations
- Providing case management and referral services for GBV survivors
- Delivering psychosocial support and counseling
- Facilitating economic empowerment through skills training and IGAs
- Conducting community awareness campaigns on GBV prevention
Impact
Since inception, GRIT has reached over 12,900 beneficiaries across four woredas, providing life-saving support and helping rebuild lives in conflict-affected communities.
